John Marino

John Marino is an experienced educator and librarian, currently serving as a School Librarian for Lake Washington School District since 2019. Marino has a diverse background that includes roles as an Assistant Professor at the University of North Texas (2017-2019) and Teacher-Librarian positions at both Lake Washington School District (2013-2017) and Edmonds School District (1997-2013). Additionally, Marino has worked as a Regular Education Teacher and a Deaf Education Teacher, demonstrating expertise in creating inclusive learning environments. Academic qualifications include a PhD and MS in Library and Information Science from the University of Washington, as well as an MA in Education of the Deaf from Gallaudet University and a BS in Business Administration/MIS from the University of Delaware.
