Justin Garrison

Justin Garrison, AIA, AICP, serves as the Director of Urban Design & Planning at Lake|Flato Architects since March 2016. Garrison has also contributed to academia as a Guest Lecturer in Urban Design at The University of Texas at Austin, co-teaching an Advanced Urban Design Master’s Studio with Gehl Architects. Prior experience includes urban design roles at Sasaki Associates, with notable projects such as the Tecnologico de Monterrey Urban Regeneration Plan and the Xincunsha Master Plan in Shanghai. Garrison's earlier experience encompasses positions as a Graduate Student Instructor at the University of Michigan and internships at various architecture firms. Garrison holds a Master of Urban Design and a Master of Architecture, both with distinction from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor of Environmental Design from Texas A&M University.
