Brendan Eccleston

Brendan Eccleston has had extensive experience in the legal field, with a particular focus on corporate counsel and executive roles. Brendan started their career in 1988 as a Corporate Counsel at The Money Store Investment Corporation. From there, they worked as a Corporate Counsel/Vice President at AT&T Capital Corporation from 1995 to 1999. In 1999, they joined TRANSAMERICA SMALL BUSINESS CAPITAL, INC as Chief Counsel/Executive Vice President before moving on to CIT Group Inc. in 2001, where they held the position of Chief Counsel/Director for over a decade. In 2014, Eccleston took on the role of Executive Vice President-General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at ReadyCap Commercial, LLC until 2016. Brendan then founded their own legal firm, Eccleston and Associates, in 2016 before joining Lakeland Bank in 2017 as the First Senior Vice President - Deputy General Counsel, a position they currently hold.
