Early Childhood Education Administrator at Lakes Country Service Cooperative

Melissa Amundson M.Ed. Ed.S. serves as the Early Childhood Education Administrator for the Fergus Falls Public School District at Lakes Country Service Cooperative since May 2019. In addition to this role, Melissa has co-owned Amundson Farms, a third-generation family farm, since August 2003. Previously, Melissa worked as an Education Teaching Specialist and Adjunct Instructor at the University of Minnesota Crookston and held positions with the White Earth Tribal Nation as Education Coordinator and Early Childhood Manager. Additional experience includes serving as Early Childhood Education Program Coordinator at Rasmussen College and teaching at Minnesota State University Moorhead and Ulen-Hitterdal Public School. Melissa holds an Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership and a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education, both from Concordia University-St. Paul, along with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from the University of Minnesota Crookston.
