Jakorlyn Calhoun is a versatile professional with a strong background in counseling, media, and retail. Currently serving as a Community Counselor at Lakeside Behavioral Health System since September 2020, Jakorlyn previously held various roles, including Radio Personality at WUMS-FM 92.1 Rebel Radio, where responsibilities included researching hip-hop music and conducting live interviews. Experience as a Sales Associate at Shoe Carnival, Inc. involves managing inventory and assisting customers, while a prior position as a Teacher Counselor at Youth Villages provided valuable teaching experience. Earlier roles include hosting at Buffalo Wild Wings and serving as Sales Floor Captain at Aramark Refreshment Services, where team leadership and customer service were key. Jakorlyn holds a Bachelor's of Arts in Journalism with a focus on Broadcast Journalism from the University of Mississippi, earned between 2014 and 2018.
