Solomon Birhanu

Solomon Birhanu has worked in various roles since 2007. Solomon began their career as a Jr. Electrical Engineer I at the Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation (EEPCo)- Central Region Safety and Technical Inspection Office. In 2009, they moved to the Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation (EEPCo- IT and Technical Audit Department) as a Distribution Construction and Operation Electrical Engineer. In 2010, they were promoted to Distribution Operations & Construction Electrical Engineer at the Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation (EEPCo)- Transformation Project Office. In 2014, they moved to the Ethiopian Electric Utility (EEU)- Distribution Systems Wire II Business as Head - Rural Operations. In 2017, they held two positions, Business Development and Sales Manager at Poly Solar Technologies (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and Assistant Wire Business Technical Support/ Technical Advisor to the CEO at the Ethiopian Electric Utility (EEU). In 2018, they became a Project Manager at the Ethiopian Electric Utility (EEU), Addis ababa transmission and distribution system project. In 2019, they moved to S&S Systems of America, Inc. as a Project Manager and, in 2021, they joined LaMarco Systems, Inc. as a Project Manager.

Solomon Birhanu completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering from Jimma University between 2003 and 2007. Solomon then went on to pursue a Masters of International Business (MIB) at Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, which they completed in 2017. Solomon'sfield of study was International Business.
