Gema Malet

Gema Malet is a Senior Scientist in Oncology at Laminar Pharma, a position held since January 2020. Prior to this role, Gema worked at IFOM, the FIRC Institute for Molecular Oncology from 2011 to January 2020 as a Researcher, focusing on the mechanisms of tumor cell migration through advanced imaging analysis and physical approaches. Gema also completed a collaboration stay as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC) in 2015 and served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at INSERM from 2007 to 2011, investigating the migration and invasion mechanisms of B-cell lymphomas. A guest researcher at the National Cancer Institute in 2005, Gema studied apoptosis-related protein production and conducted apoptosis assays in vitro. Gema holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Valencia.
