Osnat Furhang

Osnat Furhang is the current Director of Human Resources at Laminar. Previously, they were the Head of O&Ms, HRIS, Payroll Monitoring and Well being Branch at the Human Resources division of the Weizmann Institute of Science from April 2014 to January 2022. In this role, they led a multidisciplinary unit in the Human Resources division, reporting to the VP HR. Osnat was also a member of the HR executive team and a policymaker in HR practices within the institute, owning policies implementation and application end-to-end.

During their time at the Weizmann Institute of Science, they were responsible for direct the Human Resources Business Partners (HRBP) , covering 22 different employment forms, throughout the institute, which include diverse labor union agreements in a dynamic work environment. Osnat also partnered in labor union negotiations, and in the implementation of labor agreements. In addition, they managed the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) section, including the development and implementation of advanced technological solutions for the HR Division.

Osnat also led changes in the processes of the HR division, including an improvement in the employee’s experience throughout the full employee lifecycle in the organization from onboarding till departure. Additionally, they built the HR BI dashboards and reports infrastructure for measuring human resources performance KPIs across the organization, as a part of a revolution in the management of the human resources division. This led towards data-driven decision and policy making. Finally, they also managed the well-being section, and rebuilt processes and operational methods. Osnat also lead the production of events for the Institute's employees&their families, presents, benefits, and eligibility.

Osnat Furhang has a MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from Tel Aviv University and a BSc in Industrial Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
