Jay Hastings

Jay Hastings is an experienced Quality Assurance professional with a diverse background in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Currently serving as a Quality Assurance Specialist at LAMPIRE BIOLOGICAL LABORATORIES since July 2019, Jay performs the disposition of raw materials, packaging components, and finished products, while also authoring and revising standard operating procedures and managing batch record documentation. Previous positions include roles at Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc. as a Product Release Specialist, Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics as a Consultant, and Dendreon Corporation as a Senior Quality Assurance Associate I, among others. Jay has extensive experience in quality systems, validation, and compliance across multiple organizations, complemented by a BBA in Business Management from Strayer University and an AS in Computer Science from Johnstown Career Technology Center.
