Alex Kinch

Alex Kinch has extensive work experience in human resources and policy roles within local government. They began their career in 2010 at Cheshire West and Chester Council, where they worked as an HR Business Partner before progressing to Senior HR Lead and eventually Senior HR Manager. In 2022, they joined Lancaster City Council as the Head of HR and OD. Currently, Alex holds the position of Chief Officer - People and Policy at Lancaster City Council.

Alex Kinch completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History and Politics at the University of Leicester from 2002 to 2005. Alex then pursued further education at Wrexham University, obtaining a CIPD qualification from 2009 to 2012. Alex later earned a Master's degree in Human Resource Management from Wrexham University, studying from 2014 to 2016.
