Ben Herbert

Ben Herbert is a seasoned professional in the fields of technology, innovation, and environmental management. Currently serving as the Director of Technology & Innovation at Stopford since November 2012, Ben focuses on developing scalable process technologies that address global challenges in the low-carbon and circular economy sectors. Additionally, Ben has held the position of Honorary Research Fellow at Lancaster University since 2008 and previously directed research and environmental initiatives at Stopford Energy & Environment Ltd. with responsibilities that included strategic direction and financial oversight. With a robust educational background that includes a PhD in Environmental Chemistry from Lancaster University and advanced management training from the University of Cambridge, Ben has accumulated extensive experience in research, consultancy, and team leadership throughout a career dedicated to innovation and sustainability.
