GIS Developer, GIS Analyst at Land Intelligence

Garrett DeSantis has had a varied work experience since 2017. Garrett began their career as a Park Attendant with the Charleston County Park & Recreation Commission, where they served customers and communicated effectively with coworkers. In 2018, they became a Research Assistant at the University of South Carolina Department of Arts and Science, where they identified prehistoric atmospheric content and processed water samples. In 2020, they worked as a Production and Administration Intern with Critical Solutions International, where they were responsible for final quality control inspection of Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) units produced for FEMA, minor assembly, and packaging. In 2021, they became a Geographic Information System Intern with the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, where they were responsible for processing GIS data sets using ArcGIS and OpenGIS software in support of developing a GIS Web application. Currently, they work as a GIS Developer, GIS Analyst, and ESRI Partner Relationship Manager with Land Intelligence, Inc.

Garrett DeSantis obtained a Bachelor of Science in Geography from the University of South Carolina in 2021. In January 2022, they earned a GEOINT Collegiate Certificate from the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF).
