Erik Coumou has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Starting as a GMP QC Technician at Centocor in 2002, Erik progressed to roles such as Inhouse Lead CRA at Janssen, before becoming Head of the Global Feasibility Group. Currently, Erik is the Vice President Life Science Partnerships at Landcent Europe, responsible for developing strategic partnerships to accelerate innovative solutions for neglected tropical diseases. Throughout their career, Erik has demonstrated expertise in vendor oversight, feasibility management, and collaboration within the industry.
Erik Coumou has a Bachelor's degree in Medical Microbiology and Immunology from Fontys University of Applied Sciences obtained between 1996-1999. Erik continued their education at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam where they obtained a Master of Science in Medical Biology with specialization in Immunology in 2002. Coumou also completed a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences, Immunology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in the same year. Additionally, between 1999-2001, they earned a MSc. in Immunology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
