Shan Zhong has a diverse work history in various industries. Shan began their career as a Product Manager at Johnson & Johnson, where they worked from 2008 to 2013. Following that, they joined Northern Light Venture Capital as a VC Investment Associate, sourcing and closing a $1 million investment deal. In 2014, they briefly worked at Strategy& as a Management Consulting Associate.

Shan Zhong later co-founded Cognitive Leap Solutions Inc., a mental health tech startup, where they served as Co-founder, Product and Strategy. Shan led a 15-person product and engineering team and successfully launched multiple iOS/Android apps and web products. One of the apps gained recognition as a featured meditation app in the Apple Store with millions of users.

In 2019, Shan Zhong held the position of Director of Growth and Product at Weee!, a role they held from April to September. Shan then joined Landing as a Director of Growth, where they focused on driving fast growth with efficient customer acquisition strategies, including growth marketing through SEM. In August 2022, Shan Zhong was promoted to Senior Director of Growth at Landing, where they continue to contribute to the company's expansion efforts.

Shan Zhong holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, which was obtained from 2013 to 2015. During the same period, they also studied Design Thinking at the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford. Prior to that, Shan Zhong completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree at Shanghai Jiao Tong University from 2004 to 2008. They also have additional certifications in Scrum: Advanced from LinkedIn in 2019, SQL Data Analysis from Udemy in 2018, and Programming in C++ from the Ministry of Education of China in 2008.
