Michelle Lee

Michelle Lee has over 15 years of work experience in the healthcare industry. Michelle started their career as an Actuarial Analyst at Aetna in 2005 and then moved on to Independence Blue Cross in 2006, where they worked as an Associate Actuary. At Independence Blue Cross, they developed and implemented models for Commercial claim liabilities and provided guidance to other analysts.

In 2008, Michelle joined UnitedHealthcare as a Manager, Healthcare Economics. There, they delivered organized trend analytics for multiple products and provided data-driven recommendations for affordability opportunities. Michelle also managed projects related to provider reimbursement trend management and strategic contracting.

In 2016, Michelle joined OptumInsight as a Senior Actuarial Consultant. In this role, they led the development of pharmacy trend analytics for the Medicare segment of a large client. Michelle enhanced data warehousing capabilities, identified trend drivers, and provided forecasting recommendations for individual and group products.

Currently, Michelle is working at Landmark Health as the Senior Director of Actuarial Services, a role they began in 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Director, Healthcare Economics at Landmark Health from 2018 to 2021.

Throughout their career, Michelle has gained extensive experience in actuarial services, healthcare economics, data analysis, and project management.

Michelle Lee holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where they studied Psychology and Actuarial Mathematics.
