Stephan Sollberger

Stephan Sollberger began their work experience in 2004 as the Plant Manager of the Eclépens integrated cement plant at Holcim Switzerland. During their tenure, they successfully led various projects to optimize plant operations and increase clinker production capacity. Stephan also achieved leadership in fuel cost and Alternative Fuels (AF) utilization. In 2010, they transitioned to Holcim (Schweiz) AG as the Head of Manufacturing Services for Central Europe. In 2013, they joined Jura Management AG as the Bereichsleiter Produktion und Technik. From 2017 to 2018, they served as the Cement Operations Director for DE-CH at Jura Management AG. In 2015, they moved to CRH, where they held multiple roles, including Technical / Operational Integration Manager for Germany and France, Technical Cluster Task Force Chair for Western Europe, and Cement Performance Director for Western Europe. Their most recent position is as the COO of Landqart AG, which they started in 2020.

Stephan Sollberger pursued their education in a systematic manner. Stephan began by attending the Bern University of Applied Sciences from 1993 to 1996. During this period, they obtained a degree as a Dipl. Chem. Engineer FH, although the specific field of study was not specified. Later, from 2003 to 2005, Stephan enrolled at the Zürich University of Applied Sciences in Winterthur. There, they successfully completed an Executive MBA program with a focus on NDS Betriebswirtschaft. These educational experiences suggest that Stephan has a solid foundation in engineering and business management.
