Ibrahim Abukar

Ibrahim ABUKAR is an experienced Somali language consultant and tester, currently serving as a Somali Language Consultant at Lidget Green, Inc. since May 2012. At Language Testing International, Inc., Ibrahim has held the role of Certified Somali Language Tester, test developer, and OPI rater since July 2008, conducting and rating over one hundred Interagency Language Roundtable Oral Proficiency Interviews for the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages. Additionally, as a Freelance Somali & Maay Maay Linguist with TRANSOMA LANGUAGES, LLC since January 2001, Ibrahim has also worked as an educator for DeKalb County Government from November 2001 to November 2015, translating and interpreting important documents for the county schools. Ibrahim holds a BSc in Computer Science from DeVry University and a BA in Accounting from Somali National University.
