Stephen Mockett

Stephen Mockett has a diverse work experience spanning various sectors and industries. Stephen has held positions such as General Counsel at Lannock Strata Finance since 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Managing Consultant at Business Organics Limited from 2017, where they provided management services across banking, finance, civil infrastructure, construction, and professional services. Stephen also worked as a Director at Lannock New Zealand Limited starting from 2022.

Stephen Mockett's previous roles include General Manager at Plan A - Winning Tenders, Outstanding Documents from 2020, as well as Director at The Sutherland Partnership (Sutherlands) from 2017 to 2020. Stephen also held key positions at Broadspectrum (formerly Transfield Services), Bank of New Zealand, Downer EDI Limited, The Swann Group New Zealand Limited, and Watson Wyatt.

Throughout their career, Stephen has demonstrated expertise in areas such as general management, strategy, organisation development, commercial management, human resources, merger and acquisition transactions, and conflict resolution. Stephen has also held various leadership roles with responsibilities in P&L management and overseeing operations.

Stephen Mockett attended the University of Canterbury from 1985 to 1990, where they obtained Bachelor Degrees in Law and Commerce with a focus on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Prior to their university education, they attended Christchurch Boys' High School. In addition to their academic qualifications, they hold several certifications, including being an Associate Member of the Australian College of Strata Lawyers, a Barrister and Solicitor in the High Court of New Zealand, an Enrolled Barrister and Solicitor in the Supreme Court of New South Wales, a member of the Institute of Directors in New Zealand (MInstD), and a member of the New Zealand Law Society Te Kāhui Ture o Aotearoa.
