Hanna Kemppainen

Hanna Kemppainen is an experienced communications professional currently serving as Communications Manager at Länsi-Uudenmaan hyvinvointialue since January 2023. Previously, Hanna held positions as Communications Specialist at Espoon kaupunki and Itä-Uudenmaan hyvinvointialue in 2022, and as Communications Specialist at VATT Institute for Economic Research in 2021. Additionally, Hanna worked as Communications Coordinator for the Ombudsman for Equality and Campaign Coordinator for the National Union of University Students in Finland. Early roles include Project Coordinator and Communications Officer at Tasa-arvovaje and Project Coordinator at Naisjärjestöjen Keskusliitto, where a project for gender equality was developed for Finland's centenary celebrations. Hanna began a career in communications as a Programme Officer at UN Women, focusing on women's economic empowerment.
