Geert De Cooman has over 35 years of experience in the IT industry, gained in both the private and governmental sectors. Geert began their career in 1994 as a Unix Support at TM Data. In 1996, they moved to CHS Electronics as an E-Commerce Manager. In 2001, they were the Portal Operations Manager at Econocom Managed Services. From 2005 to 2009, they were the Deployment Service Manager at EDS. From 2009 to 2017, they were the Head of Software Services Belgium at HPE. From 2010 to 2017, they were the Release Manager at VDAB. Since 2021, they have been the Customer Support Director at Lansweeper. During their career, they have developed key strengths in overall technical background, in-depth knowledge of infrastructure, middleware, ITIL processes, and customer satisfaction.

Geert De Cooman has a Graduaat degree in systeem-analyst, programmeur from Industriëble Hogeschool Brussel, which they obtained between 1988 and 1990.
