Malissa Mojica

Malissa Mojica has been working in the field since 2009. Malissa began their career as a Recreation Specialist and Music Therapist at the Arizona Department of Health Services. In 2012, they moved to Belmont Village as a Memory Program Coordinator. In 2013, they joined Health Services Advisory Group as a Project Manager, where they managed the Hospital Compare Support Contract and supported all User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities. In 2018, they joined Lantana Consulting Group as an Analyst II, where they acted as a Subject Matter Expert and Analyst for the Hospital Quality Initiatives Public Reporting Contract. Malissa performed Web UAT, quality assurance checks, and reviewed static content on the Hospital Care Compare site and Provider Data Catalog sites with every quarterly release. Malissa also responded to consumer questions.

Malissa Mojica has a diverse educational background, beginning with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from New Mexico State University, which they obtained between 2001 and 2006. Malissa then attended Arizona State University, where they earned a BA in Music Therapy/Therapist between 2007 and 2008. Finally, they completed a Master's Degree in Public Administration with Emphasis in Healthcare Management from Grand Canyon University in 2016. In addition, Malissa Mojica has obtained two certifications: a Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA) from ASQ-Quality Management Division (QMD) in December 2021 and a Caregiver Certificate in July 2012.
