Alex Groschopp

Alex Groschopp has extensive experience working in various roles within the chemical industry. They started their career at BASF in 2018, where they held positions in corrosion protection research, global strategic marketing, coatings applied research in the Asia Pacific region, and as a launch, marketing, and sales manager. Currently, Alex is the Head of New Business Development at LANXESS, a position they started in 2022.

Alex Groschopp completed their education in the field of Chemistry. Alex obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from Technische Universität Braunschweig in 2012. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree from the same institution, which they completed in 2014. Following this, Alex Groschopp enrolled in The University of Göttingen to attain a Doktor (Ph.D.) degree, which they successfully achieved in 2018. Alongside their academic achievements, they also obtained a certification as a Certified Business Chemistry Project Manager from Gesellschaft Deutscher Chemiker (GDCh) in April 2017.
