Hamid Bawari

Hamid Bawari has recently been appointed as the Head of Engineering at LANXESS, starting in September 2023. Prior to their current position, they worked at Johnson Matthey as a Continuous Improvement Engineer and Operational Excellence Lead from April 2020 to August 2023. Before that, they served as a Plant Engineer at NextPharma from July 2018 to March 2020.

Hamid Bawari's education history begins in 2010 when they attended the University of Kassel and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2012. From 2012 to 2016, they attended the University of Duisburg-Essen where they completed another Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2014 and 2015, they studied at the National University of Malaysia (UKM), although the specific degree and field of study are not mentioned. In 2016 and 2017, Bawari pursued a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Duisburg-Essen. Currently, from 2021 to 2023, they are enrolled at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, pursuing an MBA - Master of Business Administration degree. Additionally, in 2022, they participated in the Leadership Program at Columbia Business School in New York.
