Richard Suermann

Richard Suermann is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions. Currently serving as Legal Counsel M&A at LANXESS since May 2022, Richard has previously held numerous positions at Hengeler Mueller from December 2013 to March 2022, including Senior Associate and Associate, as well as roles as a Referendar and Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter. Richard's expertise was further enhanced through a short-term secondee position at Slaughter and May in May 2015 and additional experience as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek and Hengeler Mueller. Richard holds an Executive Diploma HSG in Law and Management from the University of St.Gallen, obtained between 2016 and 2022, and earned a Staatsexamen in Rechtswissenschaften from The University of Bonn from 2008 to 2014.
