Francis Steenbrugghe

Francis Steenbrugghe is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the chemical and oil & gas industries. Currently serving as a Senior Global Services Engineer and Sales Support Engineer at LanzaTech since October 2021, Francis supports the commissioning and startup of biochemical plants across Europe. Prior roles include Program Manager at Fluor Corporation, overseeing the projects portfolio for Chemours BV, and Principal Process Engineer at CB&I, where multiple international engineering challenges were tackled. Francis held leadership positions at Praxair NV and Tessenderlo Group, contributing significantly to plant operations and engineering projects. Educational qualifications include a master's degree in chemical engineering from Ghent University and a master's in safety engineering from KU Leuven.
