Kit McDonnell

Kit McDonnell has a diverse work experience. Kit currently holds the position of Director of Communications at LanzaTech since February 2023. Before that, they worked as a Managing Director at Spring House Farm starting from August 2021. From November 2021 to February 2023, they were an Independent Synbio & Agtech Consultant under their own company, Kit McDonnell. Prior to that, they were the Director of Corporate Affairs at Enko from October 2020 to November 2021. Kit'sprevious experience includes roles at Ginkgo Bioworks, Inc. where they held various positions including Manager of Capital Markets and Special Projects, Special Projects Manager, and Brand/Business Development from 2016 to 2020. Before that, they co-founded TEDxTufts from 2014 to 2016 and held positions at Tufts University, Design Museum Boston, The Field Museum, and The Field Museum as well.

Kit McDonnell holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology from Tufts University. In addition to this, Kit has pursued studies in Visual Design at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and Global Creative Industries & Biotechnology Business at The University of Hong Kong. Kit McDonnell has also obtained a certification in Leading for Creativity from IDEO U in 2017.
