Lyndsay Kooistra Cic

Lyndsay Kooistra, CIC, currently serves as Immediate Past President and previously as President Elect at Big I Oregon since January 2022. In addition, Kooistra is a member of the Board of Directors for the National Alliance, contributing expertise since August 2020. As a Shareholder and Business Development Specialist at LaPorte Insurance since October 2015, Kooistra focuses on representing independent insurance carriers and addressing clients' insurance needs. Involvement with CIC Oregon's Education Committee began in January 2013. Previous roles include Regional Sales Manager at AmTrust North America and Field Sales Specialist at CNA Insurance. Kooistra's career began as a Sales & Marketing Manager at Allied Insurance. Educational qualifications include a B.A. in Communication, Theatre & Political Science from Central College, earned between 1998 and 2001.
