Matt Hackworth

Matt Hackworth currently serves as the Director of Communications and Development at L'Arche USA since October 2021. Prior experience includes positions as Senior Advisor for Marketing and Communications at Corus International and Senior Director of External Relations at IMA World Health, where responsibilities encompassed strategic communication planning and team leadership across multiple locations. At Church World Service, Matt Hackworth directed marketing and communication efforts, contributing to significant fundraising outcomes and crisis communication initiatives. An extensive background in journalism includes freelance production for public radio and reporting roles at multiple radio stations, complemented by editorial experience at Chesapeake Publishing. Matt Hackworth holds a Master of Divinity from Chicago Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Virginia Tech.
