Erica Miller has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Erica began their career as an Office Assistant at Lasell College in 2013, where they provided customer service and assisted with administrative procedures. In 2015, they became a Global Ambassador at the Office of International Services, where they advised students interested in studying abroad.
In 2015, Erica also had an internship at MCI-Framingham, where they evaluated institutional policies and worked with correctional officers to guide inmates. Erica continued their volunteer work at the German Marshall Fund of the United States, assisting with communications and security events.
In 2017, Erica volunteered at the EU Rights Clinic and worked at SpotOn Transact, LLC as a Customer Engagement Specialist. Erica then joined J.Crew in 2018 as an Assistant Manager, responsible for motivating the sales team and managing the store's visual attractiveness.
Erica worked as a Case Manager at Abode Services from 2019 to 2020, coordinating services for program participants and troubleshooting housing issues. Erica also volunteered at Refugee & Immigrant Transition during this time.
Since 2020, Erica has been working at Larkin Street Youth Services, starting as a Case Manager II and currently holding the position of Program Manager. In their current role, they oversee and coordinates the Rising Up Program, supporting program staff, developing programming, and promoting collaboration among teams.
Throughout their career, Erica has gained experience in program management, case management, customer engagement, and volunteer work.
Erica Miller obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Criminal Justice from Lasell University between 2012 and 2016. In 2015, they participated in a Study Abroad Program at Stellenbosch University. Later, from 2016 to 2018, they pursued a Master's degree at the University of Kent with a specialization in International Conflict and Security, focusing on Human Rights Law.
