Tara Barreira

Tara Barreira has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Tara started their career at Millennium Pharmaceuticals as a Research Assistant. Tara then joined Pfizer, Inc as an Asc Quality Specialist and later worked as a Pilot Lab Process Engineer. After that, they joined Worcester Polytechnic Institute as an Instructor, where they contributed to the development and delivery of training materials for biopharmaceutical companies. Tara then moved to Merrimack, where they served as Group Lead Upstream Process Sciences and later as Associate Director - Process Sciences. Tara then joined Gemini Therapeutics as a Senior Director, CMC, where they worked until 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Head of External Manufacturing and Supply Chain at Laronde.

Tara Barreira holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Tufts University, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. Before that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering at the same institution, studying from 2002 to 2006.
