Sandy Mathews

Sandy Mathews has more than 25 years of experience in various environmental roles. Sandy served as a Project Manager at Larry Walker Associates, specializing in stormwater field and water quality planning. Prior to this, they worked as an Environmental Analyst at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, where they were responsible for compliance programs and served as a liaison with regulatory agencies. Earlier in their career, Sandy worked as an Environmental Analyst at Hawkins Webb Jaeger Associates, focusing on environmental review of land development projects.

Sandy Mathews obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History of Science, Technology and Society, Linguistics from Stony Brook University from 1984 to 1988. Following that, Sandy pursued the TSM/Environmental & Waste Management Master Program at the same institution from 1988 to 1990. In addition to their formal education, Sandy holds certifications as a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC) from EnviroCert International, Inc., and as a Qualified Industrial Stormwater Practitioner (QISP) and Qualified SWPPP Developer/Practitioner (QSD/P) from the California Stormwater Quality Association.
