Christopher Crone

Director, Disabled Student Programs & Services at Las Positas College

Christopher Crone is the current Director of Disabled Student Programs & Services at Las Positas College. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Special Education for Tracy Unified School District from November 2018 to June 2020. From January 2014 to November 2018, they were the Assistant Director of Special Education for Fremont Unified School District. From July 2009 to December 2013, they were a Program Specialist for Stanislaus County and served as an administrator for the Stanislaus SELPA. Christopher has also been a Special Education Teacher for both the San Francisco Unified School District and Richmond City Public Schools. In addition, they have held positions as a SELPA Coordinator for the Sutter County Superintendent of Schools and a Resource Specialist for the Berkeley Unified School District.

Christopher Crone holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Special Education and Teaching from Virginia Commonwealth University, a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychology from the University of Mary Washington, and an Administrative Credential in Public School Administration from Cal State East Bay.

Christopher Crone reports to Dyrell Foster, President. Christopher Crone works with Angela Lopez - Director, Child Development Center, Angelica Cazarez - Sr. Administrative Assistant, and Tamica Ward - Dean of Enrollment Services.
