Caroline Esmurdoc is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in operations and leadership within the technology and education sectors. Currently serving as Chief Operations Officer at Last Mile Education Fund, Caroline focuses on scaling innovative scholarship programs for social change. Previous roles include Chief Operations Officer at Sololearn, where Caroline led the top-ranked tech learning platform, and Executive Vice President of Operations at Galvanize Inc., overseeing multiple campuses and business lines. Caroline's career also features leadership positions at Hack Reactor, Artella, Animation Mentor, Double Fine Productions, Circus Freak Studios, Infogrames, and Crystal Dynamics, where achievements include driving strategic growth and operational excellence. Caroline holds a BS in Cell Biology & Biochemistry from Bucknell University, an MS in Biochemistry from the University of California, San Francisco, and has completed doctoral studies in Neurobiology at the University of California, Berkeley.
