Joanne Lee

Joanne Lee has extensive work experience in the legal and professional development fields. Joanne began their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as an Associate in 1998 and later joined Latham & Watkins as an Associate in 2000. Joanne then worked as Counsel at Lowenstein Sandler LLP from 2007 to 2008.

In 2008, they returned to Latham & Watkins as the Manager of Attorney Development & Programs. Joanne held this position until 2016, during which they oversaw the development and implementation of training and mentoring programs for attorneys.

Joanne then joined McKinsey & Company as a Professional Development Manager from 2016 to 2017, where they continued to focus on professional development initiatives. Joanne subsequently worked at Dechert LLP as the Director of Professional Development from 2017 to 2018.

In 2018, Joanne joined Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP as the Professional Development Director. Joanne later became the Director of Professional Development-Corporate and Transactional in 2021 and held this position until 2023.

Joanne is currently serving as the Director of Global Attorney Training and Mentoring at Latham & Watkins, a role they have held since February 2023. In this role, they are responsible for the implementation and management of training and mentoring programs for attorneys worldwide.

Joanne Lee has a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Wellesley College. Joanne also holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from Cornell Law School. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Career Coaching Professional Development and Fundamentals of Career Management from New York University.
