Sylvia Banderas Coffinet has over 15 years of experience in the media industry, with a focus on multicultural brand partnerships, marketing, and integrated sales. Sylvia is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Latino Media Network, a Latina-owned and led media company that celebrates and empowers the Latino Community. Prior to this role, they served as the General Manager at Vox Media and Group Nine Media.

Sylvia also has experience in publishing, having held roles as the Publisher/Chief Brand & Revenue Officer at ¡HOLA! and ¡HOLA! USA. Sylvia has a strong background in sales and account management, demonstrated by their roles at People en Español, Glamour, Latina Magazine, Hearst Magazines, and IMG. Throughout their career, Sylvia has consistently exceeded sales goals, led successful sales efforts, and managed large client accounts.

Sylvia Banderas Coffinet earned their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Latino Studies from Columbia University, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. In November 2020, they obtained a certification in Diversity Equity & Inclusion from Cornell University.
