Marc Hassen has over 30 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Marc began their career at Dow Corning in 1984 as a Project Leader. Marc then worked as a Project Manager at Spec Tree Systems in 1989. In 1990, they joined The Auto Club Group and held positions in Information Technology and Internal Audit until 1999. From 1999 to 2004, they served as the Internal Audit Manager and Corporate Claims Director at The Auto Club Group. Starting from 2004 until 2018, Marc held the positions of Corporate Claims Director, Claims Transformation Co-leader, and Claims - Shared Services Director. In 2018, Marc joined Latitude Subrogation Services as the Director of Operations and later became the Chief Operating Officer in 2022. Their experience includes leadership roles, process improvement, finance, claims management, data analysis, and information technology.
Marc Hassen obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Arts from Central Michigan University, where they majored in History and minored in Computer Science and Music Performance. In addition to their degree, Marc also has several certifications including Associates In Claims (AIC) from The Institutes, Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from the Institute of Internal Auditors, Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) from the American Society for Quality (ASQ), and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) from The Institutes.
