Blair Akerland

Blair Akerland has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Their most recent position is as a Customer Onboarding Manager at Lattice, starting in October 2021. Prior to this, they worked at American Swim Academy, first as a Recruiter from June 2021 to September 2021, and then as an Assistant Director from March 2021 to September 2021. In 2020, Blair worked at BA Marketing as a Marketing Coordinator and Designer from February 2020 to March 2021. Before that, they had a series of roles at Carta, including Implementations Team Lead from June 2019 to January 2020, Senior Implementation Project Manager in May 2019, and Implementation Project Manager from January 2018 to May 2019. They also worked as a Project Manager for Events and Special Projects at Fusion Imaging from June 2017 to December 2017, as a Project Assistant at Gordon Biersch Brewing Company from March 2016 to May 2017, and held various roles at Santa Clara University from September 2013 to April 2017, including Student Athlete, University Events Promotional Team Member, and Student Event Planner. Blair also worked as a Coach at West Coast Aquatics Water Polo from September 2015 to November 2015, at San Jose Eagles Water Polo from August 2014 to November 2015, and as a Social Media Director and Writer at The Odyssey from June 2015 to October 2015.

Blair Akerland received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, Management, Entrepreneurship, and Design Thinking from Santa Clara University, which was attended from 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, Blair completed high school and obtained a High School Diploma from Mission San Jose High School between 2009 and 2013. Additionally, Blair has acquired various certifications, including the Google Analytics Certification from Google in November 2020, the Social Marketing Certification from Hootsuite in November 2020, and the Web Design and Development Certification from Cornell University in June 2020.
