Sebastian Schmidt

Sebastian Schmidt has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Sebastian started their career in 2007 at Teleperformance, where they worked in customer service for three years. In 2010, they joined Laufen Bathrooms AG as an Assistant International Project Sales & Export, and later moved on to become the Coordination Manager Global Projects & Export. In 2015, they took on the role of Area Sales Manager for the South East Europe / Africa Region, and more recently, in September 2020, they were promoted to Director Export & International Sales. In addition to their roles at Laufen Bathrooms AG, Sebastian also worked at Das Schiff from 2011 to 2013, managing bookings, events, promotion, and public relations. Prior to that, they founded kra.ch - Eventportal and more in 2005.

Sebastian Schmidt completed their education at various institutions. Sebastian attended Gymnasium Laufen from 2002 to 2006 and obtained their Matura degree in Wirtschaftswissenschaften. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Basel, where they graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Wirtschaftswissenschaften in 2011. Sebastian further pursued their studies at the University of Basel and completed their Master of Arts (MA) degree in Wirtschaftswissenschaften in 2016.

In addition to their formal education, Sebastian Schmidt obtained several certifications. In June 2016, they completed the Sales and Negotiation Excellence program at Gustav Käser Training International. Furthermore, Sebastian also holds a certification in Bachelor of Arts in Business and Economics, which they obtained from the University of Basel in December 2011.
