Jagesh Panchal

Jagesh Panchal serves as the Youth Project Coordinator for the City of Melbourne since June 2024 and has been a Youth Development Worker at Launch Housing since September 2020. As the Founder of Shakti Mental Health since May 2018, Jagesh has also held roles such as the Active Recreation Inclusion and Participation Officer at the City of Casey, where responsibilities included developing sports and recreation events and strategies. Additionally, Jagesh worked as a Project Officer for the Centre for Multicultural Youth, a Diplomacy Intern at Asialink, and a Youth Employment Specialist at Melbourne City Mission, focusing on supporting disadvantaged youth. Past experience includes serving as a Case Manager for the Department of Justice and Regulation and a second-in-charge at Coles. Jagesh holds a Master's degree in Journalism and International Studies and a Bachelor's degree in Global Arts, Criminal Justice, and International Studies from Monash University, along with a Certificate IV in Community Services.
