Technical Project Manager at Launch Mobility

Ruben Godoy has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities. Starting in 2007, they worked as a Quality Assurance (QA) in XTREME TECHNOLOGIES, where they were responsible for managing call center tech people and maintaining databases. In 2008, they joined Sönar as a Developer, constructing web applications using PHP, SQL server, and managing contents through AJAX, Javascript, jQuery, and prototype.

In 2013, Ruben joined Rokk3r and took on the role of Senior Web and Mobile Developer, where they led the technical team, coordinated team work members, and developed mobile and web applications. Ruben also served as a Lead Engineer and participated in technical discussions, code reviews, and provided technical guidance to the team. Ruben continued in this role until April 2023 when they transitioned into the role of Lead Engineer in Launch Mobility, Inc.

In their current position at Launch Mobility, Inc. as a Technical Project Manager, Ruben is responsible for overseeing technical projects from start to finish. Ruben defines project scope, goals, and deliverables, develops project schedules and resource plans, identifies and manages project risks, issues, and changes, and leads cross-functional project teams. Ruben also ensures that the Scrum framework is implemented correctly, facilitates Scrum ceremonies, and removes obstacles hindering team progress. Additionally, they work closely with the product owner and Tech Lead to prioritize and groom the product backlog and ensure the team focuses on delivering value to the customer. Throughout their career, Ruben has promoted a culture of agility, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Ruben Godoy began their education in 2002 at Universidad de La Salle, where they pursued an Engineer's degree in Electronic Design Automation (EDA) Engineering. Ruben dedicated himself to their studies until 2008, when they successfully completed their degree. In 2007, Ruben also attended the University of Delaware ELI, where they specialized in English as a Second Language for a year.
