Curtis Reed, MS, has extensive experience in mental health and educational settings. Currently serving as a Mental Health Court Liaison at Laurel Ridge Treatment Center since August 2016, Curtis previously worked as a Clinical Practitioner III for The Center for Health Care Services, specializing in mobile crisis outreach in Bexar County. With a background in education as an 8th-grade math teacher and a robotics co-chair at North East Independent School District, along with previous teaching roles in reading at Corpus Christi Independent School District, Curtis brings a diverse skill set. Additional roles include deputy constable in Nueces County and various positions in mental health and crisis response, supporting individuals in crisis situations. Curtis holds a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and has a solid foundation in criminal justice and police science.

In 1987, Laurel Ridge Treatment Center opened its doors to provide specialized behavioral health care and addiction treatment on a therapeutic 18-acre campus, located in North Central San Antonio, Texas. Our 250-bed facility was designed with one mission in mind: Saving Lives, Healing Families, Creating Hope. The facility includes a charter school, gymnasium, recreational facility, playgrounds, swimming pool, ROPES (Reality-Oriented Physical Experiential Situation Course), library and dining room.
