Thomas Carver-Smith

Head of Monetisation and Live Ops at Lava Labs

Thomas Carver-Smith started their work experience in 2007 at Games Warehouse as a Software Engineer, where they were responsible for developing and designing SWP games for both the UK and US markets. Thomas also worked on the development and design of AWP games for the UK, both offline and online, with integration to the Openbet Platform. Thomas held this role until September 2014 when they were promoted to Senior Software Engineer.

In 2015, Thomas joined Lockwood Publishing Ltd as a Senior Software Engineer, where they continued to work on game development. Thomas later took on roles such as Feature Lead, Live Ops Lead, Content Director, and finally Product Director. In these roles, they were responsible for leading teams and overseeing various aspects of game development. Thomas remained at Lockwood Publishing Ltd until February 2022.

Most recently, Thomas joined Lava Labs in March 2022 as the Head of Monetisation and Live Ops.

Thomas Carver-Smith attended the University of Nottingham from 2004 to 2007, where they pursued a degree in Computer Science. No specific field of study was mentioned.
