Vladimir Bujanda Valiente

Vladimir Bujanda Valiente serves as the Assistant Director for Governance and Human Resources at Dumfries and Galloway Council since January 2021, overseeing a wide range of services including Legal Services, Licensing, and Democratic Services. In addition to this role, Vladimir is co-convener of the In-house Lawyers Committee at The Law Society of Scotland, a tutor in Public Law at Strathclyde Law School, and in Human Rights Law at the University of Glasgow. Previous positions include Legal Services Manager at the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and Principal Solicitor at Midlothian Council. Vladimir holds multiple advanced legal degrees and management certifications, including a Master of Laws in International Human Rights Law from the University of Essex.
