Clara Douglas

Clara Douglas is a legal professional currently serving as a Legal Assistant at Whitestone Chambers since February 2024. In addition to this role, Clara holds the position of UK Organiser: Outreach Co-Chair and Communications Strategist at Law Students for Climate Accountability since September 2023. Previous experience includes positions such as Tutor at Edumentors, Pro Bono Caseworker and Internship Coordinator at The Woods Foundation, and Post Conviction Law Clerk for Frank Ozment Esq. Clara served as an Intern focused on public sector, policy, and charity at BrightNight and worked as Partnerships Officer for Cambridge University Human Rights Law Society, where responsibilities included leading a student team in supporting criminal cases and developing policy proposals. As a Non-Executive Director at the 3DCentre, Clara focused on youth engagement in human rights law, and also organised a mock trial exploring local historical connections to the slave trade. Clara earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Cambridge and holds educational qualifications from The Woodroffe School.
