James Farrell

James Farrell, PharmD, currently serves as a Clinical Pharmacist at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital, where involvement began in May 2021. Previously, James completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency and participated in an Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) student rotation within the Yale New Haven Health longitudinal APPE program. James has gained diverse experience as an APPE student at various institutions including Abacus Health Solutions, Westerly Hospital, and Kent Hospital between 2021 and 2022. Additionally, James worked as a pharmacy intern at CVS Pharmacy, where duties included patient counseling on medications, providing immunizations, and administering COVID-19 tests from June 2019 to June 2022. Academically, James earned a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Rhode Island while also tutoring pharmacy students in self-care courses. Previous pharmacy internship experience was gained at Baker's Pharmacy of Jamestown from July 2017 to June 2019.
