Aaron McCrary

Aaron McCrary is a Mechanical Engineering Analyst at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory since January 2022. Previously, McCrary served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at Iowa State University, where responsibilities included advising students on robotics and drone projects, designing and simulating mechanical metamaterials, performing fatigue analysis, and supporting research in the Integrated Computational Material Design Lab. McCrary also interned at John Deere, engaging in multibody dynamics modeling for autonomous vehicles and analyzing performance metrics. Additional experience includes an internship at McClure Engineering Company, where responsibilities involved drafting structural engineering drawings and adhering to quality assurance processes. McCrary holds a Master of Science in Engineering Mechanics and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University.
