Chris Clouser

Chris Clouser is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in various sectors, currently serving as a Sr. Mechanical Engineer in Laser Systems Engineering & Operations at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory since October 2019. In this role, Chris designs opto-mechanical assemblies for the National Ignition Facility and defense-related laser systems while working on classified programs. As the President of Clouser Engineering since January 1997, Chris provides mechanical engineering consulting services. Previous experience includes roles as Technical Director at Kargo Master and Engineering Manager at Paul Graham Drilling, where responsibilities encompassed engineering management and product development for oil drilling equipment. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
