Kelly Burbrink

Kelly Burbrink is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Engineering Group Leader for Laser Systems Engineering Operations at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Since July 2020, Kelly has led a multi-disciplinary team focused on key operations, design, production, and R&D activities within the National Ignition Facility & Photon Science Directorate, while also managing construction projects. Prior to this role, Kelly held several positions at WeWork, including Project Executive and Strategic Proposal Manager, overseeing project scopes and client proposals. Additionally, Kelly has a strong background in construction management from tenure at Turner Construction Company, where responsibilities included managing significant projects and pursuing business development opportunities. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of New York University and has furthered education through a Technical Management Program at UCLA Extension.
