Rashid Rahman

Rashid Rahman, PE, PMP, currently serves as Manager of the X-ray Diagnostics Group and Systems Integration Manager at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory since May 2023. Prior to this, from November 2000 to May 2023, Rashid held multiple roles at Corning Incorporated, including Principal Mechanical Engineer and Systems Design Leader, where expertise in fusion draw equipment and machine design was demonstrated. Rashid also led various innovative design projects aimed at enhancing efficiency and cost-effectiveness across multiple divisions. Earlier experience includes a role as Mechanical Engineer at Philips Lighting, with involvement in high-speed production line automation. Rashid holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University.
