Julie Vulaj is the Director of Development for the College of Engineering at Lawrence Technological University. Julie has over fifteen years of experience in fundraising, event planning, and donor cultivation.
Julie began their career in development at Oakland University in 2001. As the Development Officer for the School of Health Sciences, they were responsible for annual fund, major giving, planned giving, donor cultivation, and stewardship. During their six years at Oakland University, Julie helped to raise over $112 million through the Innovation & Opportunity Campaign.
In 2007, Julie left Oakland University to join Lawrence Technological University as the Director of Development for the College of Engineering. In this role, they are responsible for all aspects of fundraising for the college, including events, annual giving, major gifts, planned giving, and donor stewardship. Julie has helped to grow the College of Engineering’s development program significantly, and has been instrumental in raising millions of dollars to support scholarships, program enhancement, and research.
Julie Vulaj has a Master of Science in Management from Walsh College and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Madonna University.
